Partner post: Vaselife recyclable paper sachet

Master Florist partner Vaselife is introducing a new paper packaging for their flower food, here's the details:

Vaselife’s Recyclable Paper Sachet.

Vaselife is very proud to introduce an unique and innovative paper packaging for our cut flower food sachets, which is fully recyclable and FSC Certified.

Paper Recyclable Packaging.

Our new paper recyclable packaging has been independently tested according to the recognized standard PTS-RH:021/97 by the Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTSpaper) and has officially been classified as a recyclable paper product. This means that you can throw the empty packaging away into the same paper bin that you use for the rest of your household paper waste, which is sent for recycling.

FSC Certified Paper.

The kraft paper used in the sachets’ packaging is FSC certified.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that Vaselife International B.V. has recently gained FSC accreditation and all our paper packaging material such as our outer boxes, Bucket Bags, brochure etc, are all being changed to FSC certified paper.

Innovative Green Technology.

Our sachet is coated on the inside with an innovative material, which is exclusive to Vaselife.
This creates a watertight barrier which means it can sit in water for several days. During the paper recycling process, the highly mineralized coating easily separates from the paper allowing the paper fibres to be re-used.

Vaselife International.

Vaselife is a market driven company producing premium flower care products for the whole of the flower chain, from grower to consumer. We pride ourselves as being the most sustainable company within our industry and are committed to investing in new technologies to make our products and packaging more sustainable.

Flower Trials June 2019 with Selecta one and Master Florist

Selecta One Flower Trials - Autumn Friends

Selecta One and Master Florist made daily shows during the Flower Trials. In the Dutch Westland Region, at nursery P. van Geest Selecta's "Autumn Friends" range was highlighted and given some floristic flair by Master Florist's Thijs Harmens.

Here the visitors could get inspired, discover novelties and become active by creating their own Autumn Friends mixes – creative ideas and some of the endless possibilities of the concept were also presented floristically. The flower show convinced with proven varieties, improved series and novelties, like the three new Pelargonium varieties of the series Marcada: Orange, White and Pink Purple, the double flowering Calibrachoa MiniFamous Neo Double OrangeTastic and the both Osteospermum of the series FlowerPower: Crystal Pink and Tropic Sun.

On behalf of Master Florist, Thijs Harmens was used to inspire, stimulate and show the guests what is so interesting from the florist's perspective to work with these unique products.

"Working with a plant mix such as that of Selecta one gives us as florists an extra opportunity to distinguish ourselves from our supermarket or hardware store towards our customers".

A full selection of photos from the event can be found in our Flower Trials photo Albumn.

We look back on positive and successful days with Selecta One during the Flower Trials.
